Darkness and cold surround.
Light escapes through tiny cracks.
Swirling clouds cover skies.
Silence in the air.

Life begins showing.
Creatures awaken.
Dawn creeps forward.
Blossoms spring forth.

Swift, gentle breezes.
Music on wind.
Sun beams 'round every corner.
Spurts of growth occur.

Mosaic of colors.
Air begins to chill.
Sweet smells endure.
Long slumber awaits.
