Hey, this is fuschia99,

It is said that children and adults today are 20% fatter than they were 100 years ago! Even 10 years ago, children were still a couple more pounds than they are now. Why is this, you ask? I believe it's technology.

You see, 100 years ago there were no computers, televisions, Playstations, etc. Today we take all of these things for granted. Even 10 years ago, although there were computers and televisions, the stuff was not as advanced as they are now. Although I believe that the creators of X-Box, Playstation, Dreamcast, Nintendo, Gamecube and so on realize that they are making kids fatter, they continue to bring out more products. There is a new game console, which will be on the market soon, called Phantom. It is a system that I think is designed to keep kids healthier, while still enjoying the crazyness of technology. For the game, you have to wear console glasses, and I would guess you would see some form of hologram, and try to fight it, play with it, or something.

My point is, playing these games (Playstation, etc.) can damage your health!

So if you are a person that always complains about your weight, remember this is why. You can still enjoy the joys of technology, but remember you ain't gonna get tanned and slim sittin' on that chair!

This is fuschia99 signing off, goodbye.

Editor's Note: Without any sources to prove what you're saying, fuschia99, you need to be very very careful! If we published this article in something like the New York Times, the video game makers might sue you for making them look bad without being able to prove yourself. It's called "defamation", and it's very serious. So, if you still believe what you said here, see if you can put together a new article that describes where you get your proof -- medical doctors X, Y, and Z say this about game consoles, and this organization of nurses say that, and so on. Are you up to it?
