And Then There Were None, by Agatha Christie
This is an old book that your parents may have read. It is the perfect book
to read if you like a good mystery and love to be scared! Agatha Christie is a
world famous mystery writer, so you can except that this book will be something
you enjoy!

Hush, by Jacqueline Woodson
Hush is a wonderful story of a young girl, named Toswiah Green, who has to
start life all over again when her father testifies against a fellow officer of
his police squad. Her family is in great danger unless they move to another
state. This book is a National Book Award finalist and the winner of the Coretta
Scott King Award.
