What is the difference between infectious and contagious?? We'll find out!


Infectious diseases are spread by a germ. The common cold is an infectious disease that is very contagious because it is easy to catch. HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, is harder to catch, and therefore it is less contagious. Most diseases are contagious because they can be spread more easily from person to person. Infectious diseases can be very contagious.
