I tend to daydream about life as an adventurous teenager who is constantly searching for treasure, or that I'm in my favorite TV show as a guest star, or that me and that crazed girl across the street are pirates fighting in the Caribbean, or that I'm in school failing a math test... wait, scratch that last one, 'cause it's a nightmare, Sometimes I'm some sort of mystical creature running through the woods, flying in the breeze or swimming though the sea. Other times when I'm just daydreaming trying to find my path to sleep, I just lay in bed spacing out.

The other night I was reading a "Chicken Soup for the Soul" book and got to the Death part . I'm EXTREMELY emotional so whenever someone dies -- I cried so much that I couldn't even see the page anymore! I started reading it and I got to this story called "Mom." It was about this guy losing his mom to cancer -- it was very sad. I started thinking to myself, imagine if I lost my mom....

One morning, you wake up eat breakfast and run out the door. At school and in the middle of class you're told to get all your stuff and come to the office. When you got there, your aunt is sitting there in a state she tells you that your mom has been in a car accident and has died. I know that some people out there are actually thinking, "AWESOME!!" Well, guess what? You're going to have to stop going to the mall every second day because no one can drive you. When you get home from school, your little brother starts complaining that he's hungry. Your dad can't get home until 8:00pm and you have to cook supper. What happens is that you have to grow up in a matter of a day because your mom is dead!

I can hear it from those of you now: "Well, my mom works, so it doesn't make a difference to me!" Oh yes it will, because when you need help with homework and your dad can't understand who can you go to??? NO ONE!! Your parents are the ones who brought you into this world! Respect them and live life the fullest with your parents, because you never know what will happen in the future. Tomorrow they may not be there for the comfort that you need.

MizMissa, signing off and going back to LaLa Land! Toodles...
