Howdy folks!

That's one small step for Whyville, and one giant leap... well, almost there!

Have you heard about the Space Station?

During the past year, Whyville citizens worked hard to deliver shipments of oxygen to the Whyville Space Station. This past month, they finally managed to fill the station with breathable air, sending up at least 50,000 of tanks of air!

WASA wants me to extend a big THANK-YOU to every one of you who has contributed. That's an incredible number of citizens who launched mission after mission to the space station!

Do you know what that means? It means I get to go to space -- along with Marty Buildenhammer and a few other City Workers, who will be working hard to get the interior for the station built quickly for you.

If all goes well, we'll have it done sometime early next year. Let's just hope we don't have any air leaks or other troubles like what happened with the Russian space station Mir... or money problems like the U.S.'s international space station!

Just like NASA, the details of what WASA has planned is top secret and under wraps, so I can't reveal very much to you. But I think it's safe to say that what we could expect when we can all finally get way up there is a really spectacular view of good old Earth.

In the meantime, you'd better keep practicing in the low-gravity rooms! Remember, there's no gravity up there...

From the vacuum of my mind,
Bigfoot Bill
