Well, it all started one afternoon when I was surfing the net. Suddenly my computer gave me a warning that there was a virus on it.

I thought to myself, "Oh, man! This is just great!"

Then I saw a little thing in the computer. It looked like a little black dot at first, but as it got closer, it started to look like a bird or something. But as it got closer, it looked like a fish with legs.

All of a sudden it looked like it was going to run straight through the computer onto my lap!

I had no clue what it was, but it was scary, with its big sharp teeth and its long scaly fins and its piercing eyes.

"Oh, man, it's coming right for me!" I got up from the chair and tried to run, but the next thing I knew, it was on top of my back!

"AHHH!!! Get off!!" I screamed!!!

As wierd as this may seem, it did! Then it ran off before I could get a good look at the thing.

Well, I told myself to forget about it and I went to bed for the rest of the day.

Around 8:00pm I heard my brother and sister screaming because they were getting their toenails cut. "Ha, ha!" I thought, and then I went back to sleep.

Late at night, around 1:00am, I heard something in the kitchen. I went to take a look. I figured it was Dad just getting home late from work, but I went to check anyway.

It sure wasn't Dad! It was that disgusting walking fish, frying up green tomatoes! Gross! I said quietly.

It also had a heap of toenails on the counter. Within the next fifteen to twenty minutes it had whipped up what seemed to be a fried green tomato casserole with toenails on top.

What kind of person in his or her right mind would eat that junk? But I seemed to have forgotten it wasn't human, and it was an it, and above all it was a virus and I needed to get rid of it.

I snuck up on it and scared it half to death! It picked up the casserole and took off -- it seemed to have turned itself into a twister. That's how it earned the name Twister Fish.

Well, the next day I was on Whyville really late, and I heard it again. This time when I chased it, it ran to my room and jumped into my computer screen! and ran off to the pool.

Grrr! He was really starting to get on my nerves.

I jumped into the pool right after it, but it made a huge whirlpool, and I got sucked in!

Would I live or die? Find out next time, in Part 2!

Hope I left you in suspense... you'll find out what happens in Part 2 of How The Twister Fish Came To Whyville.

Your devoted citizen,

Shelly1
