I interviewed some people about what they usually do for Christmas. They all were very different, and some of them were very unusual to me. So... here's what they said:

Swmergrl: Since I'm Italian, every year our family buys a Christmas tree and decorates it. One person each year switches off putting on the pickle ornament. (It's an Italian tradition.) After the ornament is hidden, our family turns off the lights in our house and sit around by the fire looking for the pickle, and looking at the bright colored lights. But the pickle isn't the best part about Christmas -- it's just the fact that we are all together, celebrating and spending good quality time.

Sierra88: Hi... ummm, what I do for Christmas? Well, I get presents early... every Christmas, on like the 21 of Dec... lol... because I got to go to Montreal (to visit relatives) lol... and then I go to my grama's and then my other grampa and then my nana.... and then we go to my aunt's house and open presents there.... and then we fly up to Calgary for Christmas up there with my other cousin... then we fly back to Montreal and stay there for a week... lol, not all in the same day!

Sugar46: What do I for Christmas? IT'S OBVIOUS! I spend time with family and friends, then open gifts and chill out. It's a perfect vacation! But do you really know what Christmas is about? Yea, you think it's when Jesus was born.... well, it is about that, but it's also about giving and sharing with the people you care for and even the people that want a Christmas but can't have one. REMEMBER WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT!

Zebra10: On Christmas, I go to my grandma's with my family. We open presents on Christmas Eve and put out stockings. On Hanukkah my family stays home. We eat potato pancakes (latkes) and open presents. Sometimes we go to Hanukkah parties

C2yip: Go look at others' Christmas lights.

Here's what I do: My family and I go to one of my family members' house and have dinner over there. We sit around the tree and open presents. After that, we all just hang out and joke around. My two other cousins and I usually just get away from it all and make up stupid games. It's fun!
