Howdy all! This is leogurl here, writing my first-ever article.

I would like to tell everyone about a common, but very unfamiliar disease called Celiac disease. No, this is not a disease that TONS of people die from every year, this is a disease which my very best friend has.

Celiac disease is a disease that you can get as an adult or at birth. Celiac disease does not let the body take in gluten. This means that a person who has celiac cannot eat starches like potatoes and other things like wheat... that includes all kinds of foods made of flour!

Why, though?

These people have an allergic reaction to the stuff. Different people have different cases of Celiac disease. Some cannot eat it without throwing up. In others it may cause diarrhea. Many people can have very serious reactions.

Whatever the reason for their disease, these people are still exactly the same as me and you.
