Hey, this is kaleinani here. These are some poems I wrote for school... most are nature poems:

Shells
spiraling upward
Cool delicate smooth surface
smells of the ocean

Mountains
Towering, reaching high
Huge, powerful strong
They are a wonderful home
Mauna

Fall
fall winds whip my hair
Men harvest our winter food
Cold months are coming

winter
Snowflakes falling down
Pine trees covered with snow
it is Christmas time

Sun
Multitude of colors, purple, pink, yellow and orange
Colors flowing together and end in darkness
Turning to the evening blue sprinkled with shining stars
Then the sun,
Lord of the day, Rises to rule the world with warmth and light
The day becomes the sunset, a cycle never-ending

wind
The wind is sweeping
through the trees
all the leaves follow it
cats and dogs chase it
the wind is wonderful
