I know when I was a newbie, I had no idea what all those abbreviations were. LOL ttyl brb???

Well, now that I'm a middlebie (not an
oldbie, not a newbie) I will be glad to help all those newbies out there who have no idea about abbreviations on Whyville.

LOL: Laugh out loud! Obviously, when someone says something funny, this is what you say.

LMAO: Now, this really shouldn't be said in Whyville, I think. It stands for Laugh My A** Off. It isn't really appropriate, so I like to say LMBO, for Laugh My Butt Off.

BRB: Be right back. Say this when you have to go do something away from the computer/Whyville real quick, and you will be back.

G2G: Got to go.

TTYL: I JUST learned this one. It stands for 'Talk To You Later.'

Well, newbies, I hope this helps. We were all newbies at one time, so don't feel bad about it.

Signing out,
