Have you ever found yourself without any friends on Whyville?? It can be a lonely feeling that many Whyvillians feel. So what can we do about it in Whyville?

It is not beause you are unattractive that you can't find friends, or someone to date! You have to get yourself known around Whyville! Here are a few places to go to find lots of people to talk to!!

  1. Dr. Leila's Pool: There are always people there, and there are also special pool parties on Friday and Saturday (go to Leila's house to check the times for where you live).
  2. Whyville Square: There are always lots of people here. Best of all, it is a whisper-free zone, so everyone talks to each other (and there aren't usually a whole bunch of different conversations going on at once)!
  3. Your house in Myville: OK, so this isn't really a place in Whyville! But it's a great way to have chatting session in the comfort of your own home! Go to one of the two places listed above and say, "Why don't you come to my house?" It is a surefire way to get people to notice you! WARNING: When inviting people to your Myville home, please be careful. You may want to go to a whisper zone (anywhere but Whyville Square) and only invite people who are not rude to you, AKA your friends.

Those are the three main places where people will almost ALWAYS be, so be sure to check them out. There is also the Disco, Playground, and even the Spin Lab!

Chatting not your thing? There are also other ways to get yourself noticed!

  1. Post a message: Go to the Sun Spot, Dr. Leila's, or the Spin Lab. Here you can post your own messages where others can read them! You can also respond to other people's messages. It's a great way to share your thoughts, and read those of others!
  2. Use your address book: Did someone say, "Hi," to you in Whyville today? Don't be afraid to add them to your address book! If they talked to you, that probably means that they are nice and would like to become friends! Once you have added someone to your address book, you can Y-mail them! (It's like E-mail, but exclusive to Whyville.) Once someone is in your addy book, you can also buy them things (like as a gift, or for their birthday) and send them Friendship Cards!

My point is that it is rare for someone to just come up to you and say "wanna be friends?" or "wanna be my B/F or G/F?". In order to get yourself known, be an active member in Whyville!

By using the tips above, you are sure to get yourself known around Whyville. I hope that this can help everyone in Whyville find a a special cyberfriend. Because what's the fun of Whyville if you have no-one to share it with??
