Hi, this is Sonner with another article. This one is about the Senate Race. I am
here to talk about the platforms and so on.
First off, it seems to me that there has been lots of criticism aimed at our
Senate hopefuls. I have seen actually very silly criticisms on the BBS about
them. Such as... their spelling! People have been downsizing, degrading the
hopefuls because of a few misspelled words. Personally, I find this to be very
immature. How many Whyvillians who criticized these hopefuls haven't misspelled
words on their computer once in a while? I think it's mean.
The purpose for the BBSes on the Senator Platforms was for us to ask these
hopefuls questions about their running for Senator. I think people have used the
boards the wrong way and should stop making fun of all senate hopefuls just
because they may not enjoy their platforms. If you don't like an individual's
platform, go to the other platforms on the BBS and discuss topics there. Don't
go around saying that 'this person lost my vote because I don't like her/his
face, or I don't like how he/she brags, or I don't like her because they forgot
to capitalize the word "I."'
There is no point in doing this. Ask questions and have fun!
