Hey y'all, MoTx here, just wanting to say I've had it with fashion! It's bad
enough we all have to worry about what we wear to school each day, but on
Whyville too? I say, give me a break!
Has anyone noticed that there are certain hyper-popular fashion statements on
Whyville? I have, so you probably have, too. Right now, the in things are Elmos
and layering your hair, but back when I joined Whyville in July 2003 the first
thing I saw was that everyone had flowers in their hair. Back then, the kitadoll
store stuff was totally in and those hideous, big, old and glossy lips were on
every girl's face.
Then it went from visors in about August, then pixies and
goddess eyes in September, and on to the tanks that show way too much! Then more
showing your stomach (by the way, you can get punished for that in Whyville --
it's a kid's site!), then Santa hats in December and now Elmos and layered hair.
When will this whole fashion thing stop? Every time you log
on to Whyville there is a new 'got to have' item.
So here is some advice for on Whyville and off Whyville: "Don't care about what
people think of you."
