What's Happened to Whyville?

by Rhyhorn7

This is my thought on Whyville. I think this boyfriend/girlfriend has gotten out of hand. I yearn for the Whyville that is not so fancy and just a simple, fun place to hang around and chat for a little while. But now, everybody cusses, throws projectiles and is a lot more sensitive. When I was new when I signed up last year, people were nice and caring and didn't say stuff like "You're a newbie? So what! I won't help you out."

What I'm trying to say is can't we be a little nicer to each other? Almost every time I come in the Square I can see an X on people's faces. I loved whyville when I came here for the first time. Now everybody is Mr. Sarcastic Mouth, then everybody warns and gets busted.

Sometimes I think it's play along with this bf/gf stuff or you'll be unpopular. I'm trying to figure out how this bf/gf started and this prom started it. If that didn't do it then somebody who did this bf/gf, can-I-marry-you business.

Well, I'm tired and have to go to bed.

This is Rhyhorn7 signing off.

I'm Tired of the Bad Words!!

Hey peeps, keylime here. I wanted to write about a problem that is really bugging me, Bad Words and Mean Things.

I think that there are still too many bad words in Whyville. Even though the penalty for saying bad words is usually ten clams deducted from you, I think that the penalty should be a lot higher than that.

I think that some people of Whyville have also been saying a lot of mean things about people. These things aren't bad words, but still really hurt people's feelings, or really, really disgusting stuff.

I really think that the price to pay for bad things should be really high. Maybe even like 10-50% of the offender's clams. That way, they would be scared to do it again.

And I also think that repeat offenders should be either banned from chatting, mail, or the BBS forever, or should be thrown out of Whyville. I know that may sound a little harsh, but still, I think that the people of Whyville should have the self control to stop saying bad things on-line!

Thankz so much for listening, and please keep reading for more stories by me.

Bye For Now!!
