I call my friends,
I call all of you,
Some by name,
But all I call my friends.
I call for your help,
To come and help me,
I bang on your door,
Trying to find help,
I leave notes,
To come and help me.
Now you are the one banging on my door,
You are worried about what and how I am doing,
You are trying to get in,
You say you care and worried about me,
You say that you will not hurt me.
I can't let you in,
I am too abused,
Too scared of the ifs,
You bang the door,
I say I know who you are,
But I am scared of what you will do to me,
Scared of being hurt again,
Scared of being alone,
After knowing what it is like to have friends that care.
I am sorry,
Sorry that I can't let you in,
Sorry to hurt you,
Sorry for all the pain,
Sorry for everything.
