What goes on inside that machine you're looking at? This is my fantasy-like story of what life is like inside your computer...

"Come on, dear," said Mrs. Tech. "You'll be late for work. Eat up your electricity before you go."

It was another day like any other day, and Mr. Tech was off to his job. He worked as a clock, along with some other friends. They changed the numbers on your computer's clock every time a minute/hour/day went by.

"Yes, I'll get on the cursor and drop off the kids at the bus stop," he said to his wife as he hopped on the arrow, "Let's hope it goes into 'The Magic School Bus' game today, otherwise no school."

The kids jumped on, too, and they zoomed across the screen, into the 'Games' folder where they were taken into 'The Magic School Bus' game. Mr. Tech dropped them off and went zooming on his way to work. Before he could get through, though, there were some tough pop-up ads that showed up. Mr. Tech had to wait for Mr. Norton to come on and clear them away before he could move along.

Eventually Mr. Tech made it to work: 8:15 a.m. was the time. He was all set to erase and draw the number 6 when the time was right.

Meanwhile, in the speakers, musicians were banging drums and singing as loud as directed. The coach of the buttons bossed the beats around. And, as fast as lightning, Mr. Rythm conducted the musicians to the theme tune of 'The Magic School Bus.'

In the modem, a virus brewed. It ran through the wires toward the e-mail section. Mr. Norton reacted, and ordered his workers to send a signal to the screen telling the user (that's you!) there's a warning, and you should restart the system!

Norton defeated the bug while everyone had a quick refresh. After finishing playing the game, the user turned the computer off and everything had a sleep.

That was my idea of life inside your computer... It's made up, but I wonder what really happens?
