Emerging from the cold and mucky waters of the public beach, here came Mudman, the legendary fiend. He wiped himself off, although there was no need or hope for success: Mudman's mud-like skin tone will never be replenished.

Back in 1999, Bigfoot rid Whyville of this monster. Unfortunately, today he has returned, with nothing more planned than to cause havoc and destruction!

He breathes heavily; each step he takes was a challenge because his body was completely covered in mud, barnacles, and many other unknown substances from the depths of the Whyville Beach. He had one goal, and one goal only: To find Bigfoot and pay him a little visit.

It wasn't difficult to find Bigfoot; he would always be at a local elementary, educating children on the many details and safety rules of Whyville.

Mudman made his way up the stairs, shoving aside custodians and other school teachers who may not have noticed him along the way.

"Bigfoot!" rumbled Mudman as he lumbered into Bigfoot's classroom.

"Uhh, yes?" Bigfoot replied absentmindedly, not taking his eyes off the chalk board.

"I have come to give you something I have been waiting to give you for 23 years."

Just as Mudman approached him, Bigfoot's eyes finally came off the chalkboard. A shriek of terror came from the back of the room: The students who were once working on their assignments couldn't help but notice that there was a large, mud-covered man before them.

Bigfoot ran wildly out the door to his vehicle, and hit the gas. That was by far the fastest he'd ever run since he was five years of age. His life flashed before his eyes.

Since Mudman had stolen a pupil's high speed motor bike, he would be on Bigfoot's tail in an instant. So, Bill turned quickly onto a smaller road; this would be his only chance. Thankfully, there was an emergency phone on the side of the abandoned drive. He rapidly dialed the number -- this was his only hope.

"Hello, yes, this is he. I am calling to ask about 'Code 626'."

"Code 626? OK, if you say so, Bigfoot. I'm on my way!"

Their plan was in action. Almost at the exact moment that Mudman arrived on his motorcycle, a pink car rolled right up alongside. A stunning, well; as stunning as a woman covered completely in mud could possibly be, gracefully got out of the old Ford. Just as planned, Mudman's eyes were immediately glued to her, and, the impression was mutual.

Two figures watched the scene quietly.

"It's been a while, ol' B-foot." said a tall, blond woman wearing a red cap that read "CW" in bold yellow font, as she politely removed her cap and shook his hand.

The two mud people gazed at each other, and it was obvious that they had made some sort of strange connection.

* * *

Today, the two mud people are absolutely inseparable; luckily Mudman finally received what he had wanted and no longer holds a grudge against Bigfoot and the other Whyville workers.

Sadly, there was no way to rid the world of Mudman, because he would always return; so the two city associates decided that as long as he was married to his spouse, Bracelet, and behaved as a proper man would, he could roam the beach freely. Everyone returned home, Bigfoot taught yet again, and Whyville was free of destruction once more.

It is rumored that Mudman occasionally roams the vacant roads of Whyville, where he hides behind particularly large floating water toys, and waits for his prey. Apparently, he took a particular liking to Dr. Leila's pool party, because it reminded him of a more hygienic beach. Keep an eye out; for he has always one of his terrifying eyes on you!
