I have chosen to a wide variety of issues, which will affect everyone in Whyville, something that is important to hopefully, each individual, to base my platform on. Below is my platform, which covers many subjects, but one central idea. That Whyville will in the end, benifit from my stay as Senator in some small way, helping out the thousands of whyvillians out there.

Whyville Times League
I think that if there were a group of people known as "Times Helpers" to help new people submit articles adn maybe even edit a few for grammar and spelling, this may help out the Editor and the paper as to getting better articles from new writers. Also, the Times should have some pictures and diagrams included in articles to help people understand some things. Also, pictures for entertainment would be nice.

Rewards for Whyville Patronage
If Whyville gave our rewards and special privledges for those Few Very Old Veterans, and the newer ones: people would feel appreciated and wanted, when some days they do not. Medals, Clams, and Special Rooms or Bonuses, like more face parts held or no face parts expiring would inspire people to use only one "good" account to get it all.

Open to Suggestions
As Senator, my door would always be open to suggestions. You, the public, are what counts most.

Newbie Appreciation Days
I believe in helping the New People of whyville, and therefore we should give them a few days a month to help them "learn and earn".

More Help Chats
More nights devoted to teaching whyvillians about features on whyville. I.E, the Face Factory, Dance Studio.

Whyology Survey
Anyone who participated in the first Whyology Survery will tell you that it was a fun thing to do I'll bet.I know I had Fun! So, why not have another one?

Oldie Zone
I'd like to try and see if a few old frames could be put back on Whyville for Veteran's use. Complete with big heads, and maybe Britmaria stuck in her ritual place of seating, lol :).

Newbie Zone
I'd also like to see an area for newbies only, to make friends with the other few new people. Then they would know some people before they went out into the big old open Whyville. These are just ideas, hard to possibly do I'd think.

Mail Alerts
Does anybody remember when you used to get alerts when you got mail? For those of you who don't remember, the red light on your cell phone used to flash when you got new letters. What happened to that? It was really handy and maybe we can get it back.

Clams
I would like to see more games and activities to earn people clams, and maybe a bank or something to help them store the clams. I believe that by removing all of the towns except for historic old town, that would free up more space for people to have more clams. Alot of people seem interested in a bank.

Whyville Trash Talkers Patrol
I would like to see a group of good citizens selected to monitor whyville chat. Like the Whyville Safety Patrol, but with more privledges. Such as mute and tape or something. Clam fines. Just as a way to monitor more closely the language and inuendos used on Whyville.

Chat Moderator
Maybe Whyville can loosen this feature up a bit, I mean really. Some stuff is just too far out there. This platform has zero profanities, and yet, the moderator caught some. Where? It's obscure, and should be made not QUITE so sensitive.

Whyville Support
I want to push the sales of shirts and merchandise, and whypasses to help support our wonderful town finacially.

I thank you for your time reading this, and your vote! (if you are voting for me, of course) I know you may not know me by name, but even if I'm not all that recognized, I'd like to believe I'd make a good senator becuase I care about whyville, and I have been here a long long time. But those are not the only qualities that a good Senator needs to have. I have sent many ideas and suggestions into City Hall in the past, and I have written many articles for the Times with good ideas in them . I am dedicated to the task at hand, and I wont give up until it's done.

I also want to thank every single person who has helped me with my campaign, whether providing positive or negative input, voting, helping me campaign or helping me write my platform. While I can not name all the people who have helped me, and therefore give them the recognition they deserve, I especially want to thank Giggler01, for helping me with my platform... a favour is always repaid! Babygrace and fudgyfeud, for supporting me, plus all those others and thank you to the people reading this.

A Vote For BabyPowdr is a Vote for You!

--------------------------------------------------

Hello, BabyPowdr here, writing out a platform like thing. I just want to say first off, that as a Times Writer and Veteran, I hope that I can contribute many more awesome ideas to Whyville through the position of Senator. As senator I would like to see more group chats for newbies, like help chats. More rewards and special things given to veterans to help them still feel welcomed and to help encourage people to only use one account. I would like to see some appreciation days- like holidays on Whyville for the newbies, veterans and for the workers themselves... I'd like to see the chat moderator loosened a bit seeing as once again, I cannot publish my good platform, and as such am writing this doodad. :) and I'd like to see the mail alert light thing brought back. That was awesomely handy. Thank you for your time... Vote BP and you'll have made a GC! (vote babypowdr you'll have made a good choice) ~BP
