The Halloween Party

Hey!

This is spazchick reporting about the Halloween party that was held Saturday night! It was great!! For those of you who weren't able to join us, I'll let you know what went on!

When you first clicked on your magic candy, it took you straight to the Haunted House. There, you were greeted by a ghost who welcomed you and told you everything you needed to know.

The ghost had a scroll, and if you didn't take a look at it, this is what it looked like.

Of those of you that went to the party, did you see all that? (I, for one, didn't.) Pretty nifty, huh?

If the place you wanted to go first was inside the house, the first thing you saw was a door that says, "Dinner is Served!", and if you clicked on that, you went to a dining room. There you saw chairs, a head (stuffed with an apple!), a mirror, and spooky shadows. If you sat in a certain place, the head moved! And if you check out the ghost's scroll, you'll see there were a lot of other things that weren't as easy to see.

If you chose to go up the stairs when you first went into the Haunted House, you found projectiles such as garlic, eyeballs, maggots, pumpkins, and spiders!! Ewww!!! The more you went up the stairs, the more projectiles you found!

If you went outside the Haunted House, you saw a graveyard's gate! If you went to the graveyard, your face turned an eerie green color, and I don't know about everyone else, but when I went there my face totally changed! I had been wearing a costume, but it showed my regular face! Strange, huh?

And, Amanda22 was the only one with a normal face that wasn't green -- we were all in awe about that! Hehehe!

Also in the graveyard was a pair of glowing eyes came out of a tree, and a ghost popped out from a headstone! You could go farther into the graveyard, and hide behind a grave or taste a witch's brew!

Also going on was voting for the best costume! That was a big deal for many people. If you said "vote monday" for example, it would cast your vote for that person, and that decided who has the best face! There was a lot of voting going on, and people trying to get you to vote for them, but these were the final winners:

  1. Monday, who won 100 clams and a big crown, with 93 votes.
  2. Site, who won 100 clams and a smaller size crown, with 90 votes.
  3. 11, who won 100 clams and a smaller crown, with 89 votes.

All in all, the party was pretty fun, but don't be bummed out if you didn't get to come! There will always be more parties at Whyville!!
