Hey there, have you noticed yet the Newbie Center was open? If you haven't,
that's why I'm here! Remember how the WhyHouse kept saying "Coming soon: Newbie
Center"? This is what it looks like now!
That was taken at the "Grand Opening". Right now, only Y-mail helpers can be the
"Newbie Helpers" at the moment, and they sit in a desk in the center, and a
newbie sits in a chair beside the desk. If you are confused, look at this
picture:
Yes, I am a dog in that picture, but anyway, see how I sit there on the desk?
For a person to get to sit in the chair beside the desk, the Y-mail Helper says,
"invite person" and the person automatically comes up! Kind of like what happens
in the Greek Theater.
Once the questioning is done, the Y-mail Helper says "next" and the person swaps
with the next. You cannot talk or whisper while the Y-mail Helper is on the
desk, and if you do, only the Y-mail Helper can hear you. At the moment, only
about 10 people can go into the room at once, and I know that at least one of
our Senators, Sonner, has already talked to the City Workers about making more
rooms for this. Maybe they will soon!
As you can see, the new Newbie Center is a good addition to our town. I'll see
you in there!
