Whyville Times readers!

UPDATE -- Apologies to all! A technical glitch related to this weekend's hardware troubles for all of Whyville delayed the publication of this week's crossword until very late Tuesday night. It's finally up, though, and the clams are cooking for you!

Welcome to the Whyville Times Crossword Puzzle! To solve the puzzle, you'll need to read the Times -- you'll find most of the answers buried in the articles written by your fellow citizens. The more you read, the easier the puzzle will be!

Once you've filled in every Up and every Down, the "Submit" button should hilight on your screen. Hit submit and you're home free!

The first ten people to solve and submit the crossword will receive at least 100 clams. Everyone else who correctly answers the puzzle will get a 20-40 clam bonus!!!

Would you like to get clams even if you don't get all of the answers right? We're still thinking about giving you clams based on the ones you get right in your first-submitted crossword. Good news is, that would make it easier to get clams. The bad news is, you wouldn't be able to go back and try to solve it again for more clams -- one submission, one score! What do you think? Post your opinions in the BBS.

Okay, enough talk... time to crossword!
