Many people have been complaining about how hard the Whyville crossword puzzles are, but with these tips it won't be as difficult!

Tip 1: Be sure that you have read many of the articles and read all of the crossword questions after right away. If you know some of the answers, type in the ones you know in the fields.

Tip 2:
If you are having trouble with what a word in the question means, use the dictionary.

Tip 3:
If some of the other words you have filled in fills in one of the spaces you were having trouble with, that gives you a hint. Write down the question, how many letters it has, and what spaces it fills in.

Tip 4:
Read the question carefully and see if it has one of the words that was in an article (especially a title!). Go to that article and find the word. That may give you a great hint.

Tip 5:
If you haven't read all of the articles and don't know where the question is from, read the question thoroughly and see if you can figure out what section that article may be in (ex: Fashion, Media, Creative Writing).

Tip 6:
Once you are at an article and are sure that this is the article the answer is from, read it over again and write down all the possibilities of the answer. Then if you have the number of spaces and where one of the letters are written, count the letters!

If you don't understand what a question means, whymail me, Cboosaunt!
