I was wondering, like many other Whyvillians, why the Face Factory is "Too Busy"
yet again? I would like to interview Akbar or a City Worker who can answer my
concerns as soon as possible. Maybe you
could just reply to these two questions?
Q: Is Akbar's Face Factory open to some Whyvillians right now?
A: Yes, the Factory is open, but in a very limited way right now.
Whyville's computers cannot store all the new face part designs that citizens
want to draw. We have to limit the number of designs. It's like your closet
being stuffed full, or your bookcase. There's just no more places to put any new
shirts or books!
Every account with a Why-Pass is guaranteed priority access to the Face Factory
at all times. All other accounts can get in about one day a month. So, if you
log in and visit the Face Factory every day for a month, you'll be allowed in at
least once during that time.
Q: Are you gonna change this any time in the near future?
A: Yes, we really want to make it so Akbar is open more of the time again. We
are still working out exactly how to structure our whole face part system so
people who want to create new designs can. Your suggestions are welcome!
