The sturdy, plump man sat and growled,
For endless minutes now, his face scowled.
Poor Grandma and her lavish baking,
I suppose it wasn't good enough for his taking.
There he sat, staring at the table.

Grandma sat and let out a blazing sigh,
He certainly was a demanding guy!
He peacefully pushed the dish away;
All her effort,
What a strenuous day!

The door fastened with an earsplitting roar,
It's alright Gram, we will always have more!
