I hope everyone had a very happy and joyful Thanksgiving! I ran a contest for Thanksgiving and the question was, "What does Thanksgiving mean to you?" The winner was... SugarCube! This was her essay:

To me Thanksgiving isn't about the turkey, mashed potatoes, or rolls, it's about spending a whole couple of hours without fighting with my family members. We sit while we eat and actually talk about important things. That really is a special day for me.

Thanks SugarCube! You have or will receive your 30 clam prize!

Honorable Mentions:

Here is my opinion on Thanksgiving for the contest. Thanksgiving means a lot to me. Thanksgiving is more than eating a great dinner that family or friends cook for you. It is about celebrating how the Pilgrims and the Indians shared their feast together as equals. It is about being together with your family and sharing the true meaning of love and friendship. by HorseyGrl

When we all give our Thanks for what we have. Some people don't have what we have, so we have to be proud and give our Thanks for it. by Koolchic

Thanks to everyone who entered!
