It was a cold, snowless day in Whyville on the day of the latest Meet the Makers meeting. Mark was the only CW who made it to that meeting, and the only one to answer the endless questions from puzzled Whyvillians.

Mark was late, but he took it cool, didn't lose his temper, and was outgoing. He told the Whyvillians who clustered around him about the animated face parts, and how they should be available to Why-Pass holders that week. He told them as they hovered closer and closer about the problem with the Beach, and that if you couldn't get in, your computer probably had too much memory.

But the Whyvillians at Club Why were numerous and HEAVY. Mark moved around a bit so he could breathe, but the cartoon faces followed him wherever he ran, continuing their onslaught of questions.

Mark held his breath. He had to. "Too… many… people…" Mark thought as he struggled to breathe.

Finally, with his last ounce of strength, he said "Goodbye" and left.

Many people wondered why he disappeared so suddenly. Many were angry at him. Few understood.

As I sit, telling you this story, all I can say is, I'm so sorry Mark. Please don't cancel the next Meet the Makers Meeting!
