Hello everyone, this is FairyKiya, reporting to you live from the official senate debate! This election's candidates are PUNKnPIE, biddygurl, and babygrace.

First up for the debate's opening statements was PUNKnPIE. Then biddygurl, and last but not least, babygrace.

After that, City Hall asked question directed at each of the candidates. She first asked how each candidate got their salary so high -- 95, 102 and 110 -- and how they would encourage others to work on their salaries. Biddygurl said she found them fun and stuck to playing the games; PUNKnPIE said she had tips from friends and people should start with the easier games; and babygrace said that she mostly worked around obstacles.

Then City Hall asked individual questions -- first up was PUNKnPIE.

City Hall asked if she was aware that web browsers limit the colors you can see, which is why we don't have an infinite number of colors in the design tool at Face Factory. If we added more colors, it could possibly change the colors on other peoples' computers in face parts -- did that concern her?

PUNKnPIE said that she is aware of that, but java downloads have made it so she could see more here on Whyville, which she thinks may help the matter.

Second was babygrace. City Hall asked how she would determine which citizens could get apartments, and how would we make it fair without overloading the servers. Babygrace said to limit it to four people to an apartment, and charge rent to those living in one.

The third question was to biddygurl.

City Hall asked why biddygurl thought it would be important to have games in which you can earn instant clams. Biddygurl responded that it was because citizens often get discouraged with the current ones.

After that, City Hall asked babygrace what the City Workers should do if people were to make beats of copyrighted music in the upcoming jukebox/drum kit feature, and what we can do to encourage making original beats. Babygrace suggested that there could be a contest for the most original songs and winners would receive a prize.

The next question was for PUNKnPIE. City Hall said that her idea of being able to send more than one face part at a time would make it easier for scammers to take everything, and if she was sure this was a good idea.

PUNKnPIE said that she was sure it was good, because people need to not trust anyone with their passwords, and being able to give away many parts at once is very useful.

Next City Hall had a question for biddygurl.

She asked about having new folks being able to take over old names -- which is very hard to do, both technically and safety-wise, by the way. Which is more important, she asked, new games or old names? Biddygurl said new games.

After, City Hall asked more questions for each candidate. They were mostly about ideas that may or may not work in each of their platforms.

Then the audience asked questions to the candidates.

People asked biddygurl about the Club Why membership levels, babygrace about the music room and why focus on adding rather than improving things, and PUNKnPIE about her concentration on Face Factory/Akbar's.

At one point, a citizen asked how the candidates proposed to get more money for Whyille and its servers, to make all our lives better. And right after that was a very general, big question: What's the biggest thing in each candidate's opinion that needs to be done or improved in Whyville? Biddygurl said the bank, PUNKnPIE said more games for salary, and babygrace said the Music Room.

Then it was each candidate's turn to ask each other questions. Babygrace asked PUNKnPIE how she wants to help non Why-Pass holders. PUNKnPIE said that, yes, a lot of the ideas she'd proposed were for Why-Pass holders who can access the Face Factory more often than others, but the fact is, everyone buys parts, so improving the Factory helps us all, she said.

Then babygrace asked biddygurl what would happen to current Club Why members if they changed it. Biddygurl said that current members should have the top perks and stay the same.

PUNKnPIE and biddygurl also asked their fellow candidates questions, too. Finally, there were the closing statements for each person, and it was done.

Wow, that was a great debate!
