I logged on to Whyville one fine morning and noticed there was an ad for something called "butt shields" on the sign-in page. I thought it was a joke, because I had never heard of such a thing, but when I clicked on the ad it took me to a whole website of butt shields!

I couldn't help but laugh at first, but after reading through the site, I found out they can actually be quite useful. It makes sense. Now, in case you haven't already checked it, out here's what I discovered while browsing:

Great Insulation: The designers of the Butt Shield say it has great padding, so if you fall or you're just chilling on the ground, you'll be comfortable and warm.

Shapeshifting Padding: The padding will actually change in order to fit your butt! They say it's a "foam-like material" that will change according to your comfort.

Fits: Butt shields are made to precisely fit ALL snowboard pants and bibs. The buttshield does not flop around like mad, but stays right where it's supposed to be.

Coverage: The butt shield covers more than just your butt, it covers the lower back area and your tailbone.

Unharmed: The butt shield will protect you from nasty falls to the ground. It has a special shock-absorbing material that reduces most of the harm that you would feel without it.

Customer Pleasure: The butt shield was tested by people all over the globe and virtually everyone loved it. With the exception of one or two complaints, people gave the product rave reviews!

Price: The butt shield only costs $24.95, and the makers urge you to look at all the perks!

I'm not a snowboarder myself, but I'm sure a lot of you out there are. So take some time and consider buying a butt shield.

This is ecnad, butting his way out.
