The slower I move,
The faster I fall,
Into the unknown.

I am but my only light,
The single candle in my cave,
Where I await my savior.

There I try to simplify,
To create a new world,
A world of truth.

But here,
Everyone moves for them self,
Selfishness is their way of life.

They see me but offer no hand,
I am left to hang.
This is where I slip away.

The slower I move,
The faster I fall,
Into the unknown.

I am but my only light.

Author's Note: This is a poem I wrote about how one can still feel alone in this world. How it is only yourself that can make you become what you want, and only you that is truly always there for you. Enjoy.
