It's that time again! Time to vote for the next Senator of Whyville!

I've had troubles figuring out who I want to vote for, to tell you the truth. I'm sure that many of you have had that same problem, too. So, I interviewed the candidates to get a better look on what they want to do for Whyville. Unfortunately, Rhinoryan could not participate in my questioning.

Question #1: Why do you want to be Senator?

Ninja04: I've always dreamed to be in something with a government, like president, "senator", those sorts of things. :)
Moocow007: I feel as if I have ideas that could better Whyville. I also am a very responsible person and I think I could get the job done.
Sk87: I would like to express how I feel about Whyville and have people actually listen. I have good ideas that would be cool if put into action; it is a very cool but challenging job.

Question #2: What do you think being Senator is about?

Ninja04: Showing that kids can really do a good job in leading something and education.
Moocow007: Being a good spokesperson for fellow Whyvillians; listening to what everyone has to say.
Sk87: As a Senator, you can only present your ideas, not create them to the site; it is about having good manners and respect for people of all kinds.

Question #3: What are some of the goals you want to accomplish on Whyville?

Ninja04: When and if I am a Senator, [my biggest goal] is getting credit cards.... Yes, they do come with a plan.
Moocow007: Aside from everything on my platform, I would want to make Whyville better for both new and old citizens.
Sk87: Being senator... higher salary, even though it's already 100, many more...

Question #4: Do you have any advice for any citizens who might be interested in running?

Ninja04:
If you choose to run, don't include "guns" and always be sure to edit your platform for spelling and other issues.
Moocow007: Be ready for campaigning and sleepless nights :P LOL, it gets very stressful! It is also really amazing when people recognize you and tell you they voted for you or they like your ideas... it's wonderful. :) A great experience.
Sk87: Always be strong, be mature, always think positive, be the best you can be.

I hope that this interview has enlightened you with the thoughts and ideas of the candidates who are running for our future Senator.

Waiting for the Times to update,
Monae929
