Today, April 2, 2005, will be a day to remember in our lives. This date marks the death of our dear Pope John Paul II. He was 84 years old and spoke 11 languages. He was loved by millions around the world, and will remain in our hearts here on Earth.

Here are some words spoken today by some Whyvillians:

Websta: He was a good man and is with God now.
KGirl757: I do not have any religion, but I feel bad hearing that he died. :-(
Foxy005: I feal heartbroken and sorry for him.
RaRa3810: I am sad. I was at the dentist when I found out.

That's just to show you how some of us are shattered by the news. I was at home when I heard and I saw it on TV. It was everything that they had at each channel.

Thanks for listening to our loss. If you could, please share with me a moment of silence in his memory....

Pope John Paul II
1920-2005

Thank you. With hope of the pope's contact with God and that he may rest in peace,

Editor's Note: I know that the new pope is the big news now, but I felt that it doesn't mean we can't continue to share our feelings about Pope John Paul II.
