"Food, glorious food!" That line comes from the musical, "Oliver!", which was shown at my school recently. It is also the title of this article.

Many changes are happening in my favorite website Whyville. Take a click over to your satchel and look all the way at the end... what do you see?

Art? No! Food! You see food! Food with the little icon of hot dogs!

If you're an oldbie, you'll remember that Whyville used to have food. To eat it, you would say "eat name of food." It didn't appear in your satchel, though -- in fact, it was something of a town challenge to figure out all the foods we could eat. For more info about how eating used to work, look through the Times to find a few useful articles about the topic.

The bad news I have for you is that saying "eat hot dogs" or some other kind of food didn't work the day I tried it recently. Hopefully that'll change soon.

Some other Whyville friends and I came up with a few tests to discover when we can eat the food in our satchels. Here they are:

* Go to the Food Court in the Mall
* Try saying "eat name of food"
* Buy food at Akbar's

None worked as of a week before this publication. I'm sure the City Workers will have it working soon, but I know people are anxious to get to eating. Personally, I'm glad they brought the food back. I hope we it's as simple as saying "eat name of food." And I really do hope they decide to keep it!

Now here are some questions that other Whyvillians asked me: Is it for Why-Pass holders only? Do you have to buy the food? How do I eat it? Sadly, I do not know the answers yet. :-(
