Exciting news! There's a new event on the Calendar in the Welcome Page. No, it isn't Whyville National Gravy Day... it's better.

Gravy is good on Thanksgiving, but newbies all around Whyville need Whyville-related questions answered every day. They go to the Newbie Center in hopes of finding advice, but up until recently, no one was ever there to help them.

Who should be there? Y-mail Helpers, regular citizens volunteering their time to help their fellow Whyvillians. These folks would also go to the Center, only to find the whole place empty for hours at a time. "And never the twain shall meet..."

But that's changed.

Yes, I am talking about Newbie Hour: an hour in the Newbie Center when the Helpers come and the newbies get their answers.

This event is scheduled in the Welcome Page calendar once or twice a week. Get your questions answered from, "Where is the disco?" to "Tell me about the food in Whyville." It's just ... well, it's easier than regular days!

So if you're a newbie (or even a regular citizen) and you have a question, go to the Newbie Hour in the Newbie Center, located inside the WhyHouse. It will be crowded, so you may not get your question answered in your first go-around, but keep trying!

If you are offended by the name Newbie Hour and would get embarrassed by coming, then just Y-mail the Helpers. It's easy!

I have to go... Whyville's Unofficial National Gravy Day is going on right now.

This is ps2man1, signing off! See you!
