Take a look at my face, what do you see? Ribbons? That's exactly right!

The cool thing about all these ribbons is they all have an important meaning. Not only is wearing these decorations a lovely trend, they infuse a pride and satisfaction in you that you are aware of these things and that you care. Whether you wear them all, or wear one, you can be sure that it's a good thing.

Red: AIDS Awareness
Purple: Cancer Awareness
Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness
Black: 9/11 Remembrance
Orange: Cultural Awareness
Gray: Diabetes Awareness
Blue: Drunk Driving Awareness
Sheer and Gold: Lung Cancer Awareness

Most of the ribbons I'm wearing are made by penny305. The pink breast cancer awareness ribbon was made by granny321.

Take a look at these and buy a few -- let Whyville know how aware you are of these issues today and how they affect other's lives.

Now, what you can do to show more interest and concern about these things is go to Google and find out more about the ribbons you bought. Can you do more? What other ribbons are not listed here? I already know of one that I haven't found in Akbar's -- Rainbow Ribbon: Diversity.

If you can, try getting into the Face Factory to make more ribbons to support these special causes. You already have one guaranteed buyer!

Live Long and Prosper,
outgoing
