Despite the long, long lines outside the Face Factory, City Hall and Akbar have made it so that everyone can get into the Face Factory at least once a month. WhyPass owners, whose financial support keep Whyville growing and growing, get more access.

When you get into the Factory for the first time, you might struggle making parts. Though my own self-designed parts aren't good, I can still show you what NOT to make.

Try to make the lines of your part straight. If it's not, it will have a sloppy look.

When making a sign, make sure you can read what it says. I cannot read this part.

Do your best to make sure there is SOME shading in the piece. It will have a more realistic look, which is much in demand in Whyville.

If the part is pixelated, it won't look that great. This example is a good attempt, but it just ends up looking sloppy.

Make sure your part is fixed so you can see it in different rooms with your avatar at a different size. Otherwise, nobody will see it.

Try to make your part look like the name, somewhat.

I think you shouldn't outline your part in black. It will have a dark, cartoonish look to it, and I don't believe that's a popular look in Whyville at this time. I know we are cartoons, but that's the only way I can explain it.

Try to spell it right. Especially if it's a good part, you may want people to search for it.

Well. These are just a few suggestions. If you have any more, feel free to submit it in the BBS!

I am ozzy111, going to butter my toast.
