I'm leaving,
Finally done with middle school.
It's my last day.
Never coming back.

I'm leaving,
Off to high school,
Ready for a new school,
Excited for the adventure.

I'm leaving,
Graduating today.
Suddenly I'm older,
Faced with more choices.

I'm leaving,
No more middle school.
New halls to walk,
New faces to see.

I'm leaving,
Never to see some people again.
It's getting harder,
But I keep moving on.

I'm leaving,
And I'm crying,
For I'm leaving
My middle school.

Author's Note:
Last Wednesday, I graduated from middle school. And yes, I did cry on the last bus ride home.
