Author's Note: Have you ever sat in your house on a rainy day and wondered if every single thing outside could be a certain color? Well, I know I have. And this poem shows what I was thinking about on that one rainy day while sitting on my couch.

I am the color Yellow,
A duck swimming a Race,
A smiley Face
Playing the Base.

I am the color of the panther running in the Night,
Thinking about my Fright,
While scratching a mosquito Bite.

A sun shining a Smile
While searching a File,
Hate waiting a While,
Running the school Mile.

I am the color of Valentine's Morning,
I hate listening to things that are Boring
While the rain is Pouring,
Did I mention I love to go Soaring?

I am the glimmer in your Eye,
I might Sigh,
But for sure I know I hate saying Goodbye!!

Author's Note:
I hope some of the things that I have mentioned remind you of the color yellow. Maybe the next time it's pouring rain outside and you're sitting on the couch, you will be tempted to think about everything being a different color.
