I logged into the marvelous cyber-world of Whyville in search of a new friend I might encounter. Wandering around the twists and twirls of Whyville, I noticed a problem that has to be addressed.

So, all Whyvillians know that no swearing is permitted in Whyville. There are censors and city workers watching Whyvillians' every word, not to mention we have 911 reports and silencing tools to keep us safe. But even with all these safety precautions, you have to ask yourself. . .Is that enough?

Many people on Whyville are at the age where they don't listen to the rules. As I looked around in all the rooms, I noticed that was true. How can we stop the swearing and bad word play? City workers are all trying to fix this, but we can't censor every word in the human language! If we did, well, then there would be no Whyville!

What else can we do? This is where Whyville needs YOUR help. With your help, maybe we can make Whyville a better place. If you see someone swearing or making R-rated comments, please 911 report them, or try to talk to them out of it.

Sometimes, that's not enough; that's why city workers developed the "banishing" movement. If you don't know, the "banishing" of a Whyvillian means they are not allowed on Whyville under the name that was banished anymore. All their clams will disappear and all their face parts will be gone. They even erase everything about that person???s name, which means if you look them up in city records, then they won't be available.

So, let's keep Whyville safe from "bad" people. Whyville should be fun and friendly, not lonely and mean. So once again, Whyville needs your help.
