Remember the Ad Agency, and what happened to it in 2003? Some of you don't. A lot has changed in Whyville. Notice how on the Destination bar, there isn't a link to the Ad Agency anymore?

The Ad Agency was a small office, where you had the privilege to go and order an Ad. You had to pay a certain amount of clams for how many days you wanted the Ad Agency to place your ad. Another thing about the agency. . .it was never busy, so anyone and everyone could enter it.

There was a small plane and at the back of the plane was a flyer with your ad written on it. The plane would fly in Whyville Square and Whyville West for Whyvillians to read.

In 2003, something happened. As Whyvillians poured into the Ad Agency that day, they noticed that it was a blank white page with this message written on it:

Sorry, the Ad Agency is closed for a bit.

Here's what happened:

The pilot crashed his plane into the spire of Dr. Leila's house several weeks ago. We weren't sure if he'd pull through or not, but after extensive surgery, he's likely to recover.

So, as soon as his plane and he are healthy again, he'll resume his flights over Whyville Square.

Thanks for all your cards, letters, and flowers.

After this happened, the Ad Agency was taken off Whyville forever. But did this event really happen? Or was it a way of Whyville saying something to us?

What I think happened is that there were a lot of useless ads, or ads seeking out dates, so Whyville decided in order to stop this they would have to take off the agency forever.

So I ask you, do you think this was a correct solution? Taking off something so popular and so often used?

I don't know, but maybe you should be careful of what you do, say, or where you do/say it; it might be taken off too.
