"Wanna catch a movie tonight?"
"Oh man, I'd love to, but I am just sooo busy!"
"Okay, well, how about this weekend?"
"Gosh, I'd love to, but I forgot to do my homework and it's due on Monday!"
"Hmm. . .well then I guess some other time. . ."

Is that conversation familiar to you? Well, I know for sure that at some point, I have either been the busy or eager friend, and I also know that if you are the Busy Betty of the bunch it's easy to make a less hectic and more natural lifestyle for yourself. By following these simple tips, a conversation can turn into a Friday night out with your friends, instead of a study night cooped up in your room all alone.

Keep An Agenda: Anything will do, just something that will be able to tell you if you're free for lunch on October 22nd. Also, most schools give out agenda's to their students so those will do just fine. Make sure whenever a big event (or any event for that matter) is in your agenda. Also, its a good idea to keep your homework in that handy book too, so you can tell when you biggest project is due, and when to work on it.

Plan Carefully: Make sure that you put the more important things first. A homework project is more important than a routine hang-out with your friends. Don't be afraid to say "no" to your buds once and a while. There will be tons of other times that you can be with them, just not that specific day.

Last Minute No-No's: You have to remember a huge rule in homework and planning: Don't leave it for the last minute! If you finish your homework and studying before hand, you won't have to turn down your ready-to-go-out friends, in the midst of slapping a project together.

Hopefully these tips help you through the school year, and lead you to a more laid-back lifestyle.

This is RayLuv13 saying: Have a Happy School Year!
