We all go through it . . . Boredom. You can't always be active, happy, and crazy your whole life! Because the point is, we all get bored!

So, what shall you do while you're bored? Can you go on Whyville? It's a possibility. But if you have noticed, a lot of people are quitting Whyville because they're bored. A lot of my friends quit. Let's face it, everyone will quit Whyville. I don't know anyone who can spend their whole life coming on here. They'd basically have no life, no offense.

Now, if you would like to stay on Whyville longer, here are some tips for making it a less boring site. You can buy a Why Pass. You might turn out to be an awesome designer and make millions, LoL. Maybe you can't draw . . . then why don't you start collecting face parts. Go through new arrivals when they come out. You might catch a face part that is worth a lot! Or maybe you can start having contests, like trivia games, or whatever you want to do.

Alright, now let's say you did quit Whyville and you're still bored. What should you do? How about try reading books? Recently I started reading anything by Nancy Farmer. I got hooked on her books when I first read her book, "The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm," in sixth grade. She's an awesome author. Perhaps you prefer Agatha Christie? Or maybe even J.K. Rowling? Whoever you choose, read a few of their books. If you liked the first one you read, you will most likely like their others.

Now, say you hate reading. Maybe you can start a hobby? Do you like cooking, or woodwork? Hobbies like that will keep you busy. Now, I personally can't keep a hobby. I took a ceramics class in third grade, and planned to keep going with it. I quit in two months. Band, well, that lasted about a year. Latchhooking, about a week, LoL. So, if you're like me and can't keep a hobby, why not start a collection?

Things are fun to collect. Marbles, cards, leafs, even baby shoes, LoL. You can collect anything, basically. Now, I don't mean that you should come home with birds all around you saying, "Mom, I'm starting a bird collection." But those are just some ideas of what you can do from keeping being bored.

Yes, I do realize there are many other things you can do. Like sports, and drama, and whatever. But those are just some basic ones.

So, I hope I've given you some ideas that are helpful. Now, I'm off to read, "A Girl Named Disaster," by Nancy Farmer.
