This blackout was not caused by a technical difficulty, it was caused by a monster that is even rarer than the Twister Fish. It is so rare that no one even knows what the name of it is.

This monster is sort-of like a conscience you never knew you had. It's not really evil but since no one has seen it, people just avoid it.

We had enough warnings from this monster, you know what I mean, all the banners not to cuss and other things. No one would pay attention though, so the monster made Whyville go down for a week.

Now, I and all of my other friends on Whyville knew about this monster, so I got together all the people I know in real life that go on Whyville and an ex-hacker. With their help we managed to get in to Whyville while it was down -- it was horrible! All the buildings were crushed and everything was dark.

But the scariest part was that in the middle of Whyville Square was a huge hole. From the back, I saw a black blob coming from the Tiki Hut, headed towards the hole. I thought it saw me, and suddenly my computer shut down.

When Whyville came back up everyone was talking about server difficulties, but my friends and I knew the truth behind it all
