Just the other day, our friend complained how she hates recycling and really doesn't like to recycle. You may not either, but look at these facts that we, Supercow9 and Ps2man1, have collected about recycling. They're interesting and guaranteed to knock your recycling socks off! I mean, they're unbelievable!

* Every day American businesses generate enough paper to circle the Earth 20 times! * Americans usually use 580 pounds of paper per year! * Each ton of recycled paper can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil (enough to run the average car for 1,260 miles), three cubic yards of landfill space, 4,000 kilowatts of energy (enough power for the average home for six months) and 7,000 gallons of water. * Each year, Americans throw away 25 trillion Styrofoam cups. * Recycling a stack of newspapers just three feet high can save one tree. * Every year more than 900 million trees are cut down to provide raw materials for American paper and pulp mills.

Aren't those facts amazing? I know, they're also pretty unnerving. This shows that people should recycle more. It'll make the world a better place!

Recycling is very important. We can make tons of new things, just by using recycled things. There are many things that you can recycle, like: papers, plastic, cans, bottles, even glass! Sometimes, if you bring cans or bottles to a local grocery store, you can even get a bonus back for recycling! Usually, the bonus is only 10 cents (American), but if you drink enough soda and save the bottles, then put them in the machine, you can get a lot of money!

Remember to recycle the next time you have a can, or bottle of soda or pop!

This is Ps2man1 and Supercow9 going to save a tree!
