A Girl Who Loved Whyville

Once there was a girl who loved Whyville. She had only been on it for a while but she went on everyday to chat with her friends.

She was so excited -- it was a Friday afternoon and that meant the weekend! Well, she was so happy she couldn't wait to go on and chat, even at school when she was finished all her work she would ask the teacher if she could go on the computer and it always pleased her when the teacher said yes.

We one day on the afternoon she ran home very quick and unlocked the door and went to her room so fast she was almost ready to get on to Whyville! She was waiting for it load then all the sudden it said, "Whyville is unavailable!!"

Of course you know she went nuts. No Whyville on the weekend! She was sure to be doomed! And when all her friends tried to get on they couldn't either!

When she called them all to see if they got the same response, they all went nuts. She was so afraid of what she would do on the weekend. After that Friday she kept checking Whyville every day. That Tuesday she went on and while she was waiting a screen came up that said:

Whyville is moving to a new server, it will be down for a couple of weeks.

It said to put her email address in the box and when Whyville was back up they would email her.

Boy was she ever happy! On the second week, on a Saturday, she logged on to Whyville just to see AND...

It worked!! She was so happy she called all her friends and told them to come on to chat.

And from then on, the girl known as Hottie570 on Whyville was always seen there, at least once a day.

That's is my story of the tragic event of the Whyville Blackout.
