Hey, Whyvillians! Supercow9 here, reporting on the opening of Whyville's Christmas Tree Lane. It's an awesome place where you can play Whyville's newest game, the Dreidel game!

To start the Dreidel game, you must have at least two people in the room. When Chaim says so, each player says "ante," to throw five clams into the pot. Then, once everyone who wants to play has anted, the game starts. Chaim will instruct you to say "spin," to spin the dreidel. The dreidel will show a series of pictures, and then land on one of them. The possible places to stop are called: Hey, Nun, Shin, and Gimel.

Hey gives you half of what's in the pot. If what's in the pot is an odd number, you will receive the the higher amount of clams. An example would be, if 15 clams were in the pot, and you landed on a Hey, you would receive eight clams, and the pot would be down to seven.

Nun does absolutely nothing! If you land on a Nun, you will not receive, nor give any clams. The only thing that Nun does is transfers the dreidel to the next spinner.

Shin makes you add an extra five clams to the pot. This can get annoying when you land on it, but when other people land on it, it's giving you the chance to get extra clams!

And last, but definitely not least, Gimel. Gimel ends the game, and gives you the entire pot! If you have many people playing, that can be a lot of clams! :D

Last, I took a picture. The dreidel is the beige colored top, on the purple-ish carpet.

Going to try my luck at the dreidel,
Supercow9
