The other day, I looked into my Health Journal and saw that I had contracted a disease from WhyEat! I thought maybe I hadn't been eating enough of something, perhaps vitamin C or maybe not drinking enough fluids, so I drank extra juice and ate fruits.

According to my friend Dartanian (again, thanks), what I was thinking was completely wrong! I had actually got it because I was eating the same thing everyday! I hadn't varied up my diet enough! That's why, of course, the title of this article is "Vary Your Diet."

I thought about this (for like a minute) and this made sense! Imagine just eating cereal for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch, and spaghetti for dinner. This would definitely be boring, because there would be no surprises, but it may even do something to your health. You may not get enough of some vitamins and other kinds of nutrients, and your body may want more variety. We're on Whyville, people! It's hard to be picky if you can't taste it!

When changing your diet, if you do change your diet, remember to follow the food pyramid. Don't worry, I've provided one below. This one consists of seven groups, but there are many variations of this pyramid. Some have four, some have five, and some food pyramids are food rectangles. =)

Remember to follow this when making your diet! And remember, sometimes it's good to have a little sugar, so go ahead and put those caramel candies in your diet!

I'm going to go change my diet so I don't have this disease anymore!
