Hello citizens of Whyville! I'm Duckie38, here to report a new issue: Nexopia. Basically, this is a "reply" to Ozzy111's article, Myspace: A New Teen Obbsession. If you've already read that, there isn't much of a need to read this one.

Nexopia is much like Myspace, but it is most popular among Canadian Teens. You post pictures of yourself, have a blog, comment other users, send messages, all of that. The only place you can post pictures other than photos is in your profile page, where you write about yourself and your likes and dislikes. Other than that, your profile image that shows up when you post or leave comments will not be accepted unless it is a clear photo of you.

There was an incident where a man stalked two girls home from school which he had dicovered on Nexopia. Most people think, "Oh, the Internet is a big place, what are the chances of someone finding me?" Then they go ahead, posting pictures of themselves, saying what school they go to, who their friends are, showing pictures of them with their friends, not even thinking about their safety.

Nexopia can also be a good thing, where teens can talk and hang out on the web, but at the same time, it could be the most dangerous place to be. The Nexopia staff are responsible. They give tips to parents like putting the computer in a place where much of the family spends their time, so that they know what their child is doing.

Even if you think something is safe, make sure to check it with a parent before you register, because your parents want to protect you.

I know that sounds a little harsh, but just be careful, please! Always be aware of what you're doing, and think twice before typing something on the web.

Once again, this is Duckie38, saying, "Be Careful."
