Wow, this is great! Back for part four already. Since our last hobby was pretty crazy, I thought I would use a more mellow one for this episode. And not only did I find a mellow hobby, it is also caring and very sweet. Plus, it is our first guy interviewee, rocklives! Hope you enjoy!

Tfklover: What is your exciting hobby?
Rocklives: Helping kids with special needs.

Tfklover: When did you start doing this?
Rocklives: In the 1st grade, when my mom brought my Canine Companion dog to school to talk about people with special needs, like my brother. I also helped out with the Special Education program.

Tfklover: Are there any hardships you notice that take a while to get used to?
Rocklives: Yes, you notice that every kid is different. They react differently, move differently, and have a different sense of humor.

Tfklover: What kind of things are involved?
Rocklives: Pushing wheelchairs, playing music to them, helping them walk and just talking to them!

Tfklover: Do you have any advice for someone who might want to try out your hobby?
Rocklives: Yep, just don't give up on these kids. They probably went through more than you will in your entire life! My brother, with special needs, had surgery on his heart when he was born. Kids with special needs are very tough. Help out with your Special Education class! That's all! :)

Very cool. If you have any questions, I'm sure rocklives won't mind answering them -- feel free to y-mail him! And don't forget to y-mail me if you think you have an exciting hobby that should be featured in my last Exciting Hobby interview, part 5. Thanks for reading!

Looking up Special Needs groups in my town,
*tfklover*
