Hello my fellow Whyvillians,

First off, I have to saw, "Wow!" I received a tremendous amount of applications to write a column for the Times and I thank all of you for your excitement and dedication.

I have selected the first batch of columnists to being working right away! If you are not in this group, do not be discouraged! I will be continuing to hire columnists as the weeks go on. If you already submitted and were not selected, it may be because you did not follow the regulations that I set forth in the article announcing these highly desired positions. Go back and make sure that you follow exactly what I set forth.
